Elevating LO’s beyond Bloom’s
“If you don’t know where you’re going, it’s difficult to select a suitable means for getting there.”
A poorly written objective is like setting off on a journey without a destination—it might feel productive, but you’ll never know if you’ve arrived — so when does the design end? Well-written objectives are not only beneficial to the learners, but also to you, as a learning designer, instructional designer, educator, or another role with a specific goal in mind. They protect your work, time, efforts, and determined priorities.
